Things To Do

The Wedding Website of June Yu and Clark Britan
Shenandoah National Park is a treasure with many outdoor activities and places to explore. Check out some recommendations below.
Stony Man Hike

Stony Man Hike

Easy hike with great views right at the Skyland Lodge! You can walk there from your hotel, or drive if you're feeling lazy. Great views on a clear day!

Old Rag Hike

Old Rag Hike

Clark and June's favorite hike in Shenandoah. Note this one is strenuous: 9 mile loop 2,600 feet of elevation gain, some of which requires rock scrambling. Super fun hike though and the views are great! Just make sure you pack lots of water. And yes, that is June in the photo.

Dark Hollow Falls Hike

Dark Hollow Falls Hike

Easy out and back hike to a big waterfall!

Rapidan Presidential Camp

Rapidan Presidential Camp

Lovely hike along a stream to an old presidential camp created for president Herbert Hoover. Enjoy the outdoors and experience some DC history in one activity!

Food

There is a restaurant in Skyland Lodge that serves average food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. If you'd like to venture out, there are some good food options in Lurray and Sperryville VA. Here are a few of our faves: Casual - Rappahannock Pizza Kitchen. Be sure to grab some beers from the Hopkins Ordinary brewery across the street. - The Valley Cork. Wine, beer, and small bites. Fine Dining - The Inn at Little Washington. The only three Michelin star restaurant in the DC area! Book early if you want to splurge on a $300 meal. June and I haven't been here yet, but it's on our bucket list!

Lurray Caverns

If you like caves and dark places, this is the place for you!
