Jun has a really good friend named Andy. Andy heard about an app called Coffee Meets Bagel, and insisted Jun join (aka signed him up and made him a profile). Jun thought “ehh, let’s give it a whirl” and participated. Funny enough, Katrina had a similar start to her story, but instead she has a Shannon that insisted she joined Coffee Meet Bagel and signed her up. Katrina had the same mentality of “ehh, let’s give it a whirl” and participated. After participating awhile to amuse their friends, Jun and Katrina matched and met at New District Brewing Company in Arlington, VA. From there, they knew their friends signing them up was worth it and this match was completely different from all the rest. From seeing each other once a week to moving in with each other, they realized they wanted to make things more permanent and last forever. After a month of living with each other, Jun proposed to Katrina quietly in front of family at her parents’ house. This of sassy comments from her very sick and heavily medicated brother such as “geez, that’s the cheesiest thing I heard all day”.
