Maid of Honor
My sister and role model! Erin is my bridesmaid of patience. I have known Erin since the day I was born ha! From hosting our own meteorology show with the theme song "It's Raining Men" to crying over boys in highschool, she has quite literally weathered all of my romance storms. Erin is one of the most dedicated, intelligent, and beautiful people I have ever known, and I am lucky for her to stand right beside me on such a big day! She is patient with others, and will remind me to be patient as I am quickly approaching the day I have been waiting so long for.
Best Man
There aren't enough words to describe him. He's my best friend, hero, and biggest fan. The greatest compliment anyone could ever give me is to say "You remind me of your father."
Matron of Honor
Hannah, my bridesmaid of love! From the moment Nathan told me about Hannah, I knew we would get along. Little did I know that I would come to love her as one of my best friends and eventual sister (in Christ, in Law, and in Chi O). Hannah is someone that immediately makes you feel like you are the most important person in the world! She strives to love you exactly where you are, and THAT is why she is my bridesmaid of love.
Man of Honor
I became friends with Aaron in high-school but lived with him long enough (8 years total, with about a 10-month hiatus when he took a job in Georgia) to call him my brother. Many early morning duck hunts and late-night conversations later, I know without a doubt, if I call him, he's coming no matter what.
Bridesmaid
Emma, my future sister-in-law, and my bridesmaid of faithfulness! She continually impresses me by trusting in the Lord despite the difficulties that life throws. One of the strongest women I know, Emma chooses to encourage others to accomplish their biggest dreams. I can't wait to call her a part of my family!
Groomsman
I met Cody through the Collegiate Cattlemen's Association at MSU. We gave blood at a blood drive together and I poked fun at him for nearly passing out, only to have me pass out a few minutes later. He doesn't let me forget that, but I don't mind trading an embarrassing moment for a close friend.
Bridesmaid
Have you ever been blessed by someone coming into your life at exactly the right moment? Natalie, my bridesmaid of kindness, did just that for me. During quite possibly the hardest four years of my life, Natalie showed up and showed kindness to me consistently. Vet school brought us together, and now nothing will tear us apart. She witnessed mine and IJ's relationship first hand, and is the best third wheel a girl could ask for. We often joke that she was here first (sorry Isaac)! Truly, the sweetest person you will ever meet, Natalie does everything she can to serve others. During this stressful season of wedding planning, I hope to be half as kind as she is.
Groomsman
I don't remember the first time I met Martin, I just remember him showing up in the library and reading the newspaper while we tried to study at night. He's been a constant source of entertainment and close friend ever since.
Bridesmaid
My bridesmaid of self-control! To be as loyal as Savannah Metz is a lifelong goal of mine. We met the first day of rush as 18-year-olds having no idea what the Lord had in store, Living together for 3 years, it took Savvy a TON of self control to not rip my head off. Savannah and I have shared the good, the bad, and the ugly together; but every day I get to call her my friend makes the bad and the ugly, good. If you ever get stuck in a ditch, give Sav a call, she'll be there, no questions asked. Ily savvy bebe.
Groomsman
Tyler's younger brother and the person who’s swing dancing skills I envy the most (not sure I’ll ever be able to match him). He and his wife, Hannah, are some of our dearest friends.
Bridesmaid
The salt of the earth, all around good, MJ is my bridesmaid of goodness! Mayah and I became soul sisters after meeting in the Student Association at MSU. She is the definition of elegance, handling every situation with grace and wisdom. Mayah taught me how to see the good in every situation, and in every person. No matter where this life takes us, or how many miles separate us, Mayah is my sister. We have prayed and cried over this day happening for many years, and I can't believe it is finally happening with her by my side!
Groomsman
I met Peter through the Baptist Student Union, and have realized since then that everyone needs a meteorologist in their life. He’s been there for me through the rainy days and sunny days.
Bridesmaid
Ali is SO easy to be around. She is my bridesmaid of joy, because that's the feeling you get when she is in your presence! Ali is the person you want around when your burdens are heavy, she'll happily pick up half the load and make you feel better while doing it. Ali makes life joyful, and convinces you to do the same. Most of my favorite memories involve this human. My lipstick twin, I am thankful she tricked me into being her friend with a puppy bribe so many years ago.
Groomsman
I think of David as a Minnesotan version of me, or maybe I’m a Mississippi version of him. Being the only veterinarian of the crew, he understands when I complain about difficult dystocias or complicated colics.
Bridesmaid
Haley and I met during vet school, but became friends when I cried to her on our Food Animal rotation about how I really wanted to date IJ. Haley has taken me out of my comfort zone MANY times, and displayed gentleness while doing it. She is one of the most understanding and encouraging people to be around. She is my bridesmaid of gentleness!
Groomsman
Probably the smartest guy I know, and a fellow connoisseur of cast iron cookware. I met Ira through Cody, and we've shared many breakfasts and lunches discussing study designs, data analysis methods, and the usefulness of p-values.
Bridesmaid
Brittany, the bridesmaid of peace. During some of my biggest decision making moments of life, Brittany would remind me of the Lord's sovereignty over all things. She would pray me through some of the hardest decisions of my undergrad career, and always left me feeling at peace. She is my Chi O big, but also my greatest listener and confidant. Honestly, one of the most wise people I have ever known.
Groomsman
I met Zach through Martin, and he's been a dove hunting buddy and the king of the poker table. Doesn't matter if he's bluffing or not, he's always gonna show up.
