Las Americas International Airport (SQQ), if you decided to fly into Punta Cana (PUJ), you’re in for the most beautiful drive along the countryside of four hours.

What hotel should we stay at?

Answer

The wedding celebration will take place in the Colonial Zone. There are so many different types of hotels, Airbnb, aparthotels, condos, etc. All my stays have been centered around the accommodations we would plan to do together. Venture out and explore just be ready to enjoy dinner, drinks and dancing Friday night.

What should I wear?

Answer

You are on an island! Dress comfortably, cool and prepared for anything! For some that may be dancing shoes. For me, I never miss an opportunity to wear flip flops, but my tennis shoes stay close at all times.

Should I rent a car?

Answer

I thought Charlotte drivers were the worst. The drivers of the Dominican Republic may have Charlotte beat. I would never attempt it. There are local taxis, buses and Uber. My Uber works great here and the GPS has picked me up at the exact spot every time. Although, I prefer to walk. Some of my favorite memories are late night walks. My left hand holding an ice cream cone and the right hand in Julio’s hand. The night air is amazing under the midnight sky with bright moon.
