Is there a dress code?
Answer
Yes! We have a Formal Attire/Black Tie Optional dress code. Black-tie optional means that guests have the option of wearing their most formal attire (think: an evening gown or tuxedo) but can also choose to wear a formal suit or cocktail dress. We kindly request that all guests dress in dark colors to complement our wedding theme. Your adherence to this request would be greatly appreciated!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please arrive promptly by 12:30pm, as the Greek Orthodox Church will close its doors in preparation for the bride’s arrival. No entries are allowed after.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

We have blocked hotel rooms at Best Western Plus Fairfield Executive Inn (please see “travel” section on the website). Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Yes! Parking is conveniently available next to the church at 343 E 74th Street, New York, NY 10021—just a couple of doors down. For the reception, we offer valet parking for your convenience.

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the reception?
Answer
Absolutely! For your convenience, we’ve arranged complimentary shuttle bus service between the hotel and the venue.
Question
There’s a gap between the ceremony and reception—what’s the best way to manage this?
Answer
We understand there’s a gap between the ceremony and reception. The ceremony will conclude by 2:00 PM, allowing time for photos. During this time, we recommend heading to the Best Western Hotel, which is about an hour away (including traffic). Check-in begins at 3:00 PM, giving you a chance to relax and freshen up before the cocktail hour at 7:00 PM. This plan ensures you’re comfortably ready for the evening’s festivities!
