Things To Do

Michigan Avenue

Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL

We absolutely love Michigan Ave! It's the perfect place for shopping, window shopping, people-watching, and soaking in the Chicago vibe. The buildings, food, and energy make every stroll unforgettable. Our go-to spots are Nordstrom (amazing bar), Ralph Lauren (those clothes!), and Starbucks (with one too many espresso martinis). Countless dates, memories, and so much more!

Pizza Lobo Logan Square

3000 West Fullerton Avenue, Chicago, IL 60647

As Miami natives, we’re not big on deep dish, so finding our favorite pizza spot in Chicago feels special. Pizza Lobo nails it every time! Order the Borgata and White Russian pizzas they are our go-tos.

Chicago Architecture Center River Cruise

111 East Wacker Drive, Chicago, IL 60601

We took this tour on our first visit to Chicago, and it completely made us fall in love with our new city!

Bavette's Bar & Boeuf

218 West Kinzie Street, Chicago, IL 60654

We believe every date should be special, and this one was no exception. Perfect steak, perfect company, and the best time!

The Art Institute of Chicago

111 South Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL 60603

The Art Institute of Chicago is a must-see, but let’s just say I wasn’t feeling my best when we visited—Angie had a solo tour while I was in the bathroom! We’re definitely planning a re-do to fully enjoy it next time.

Millennium Park

201 E Randolph St, Chicago, IL 60602

One of Chicago’s most iconic spots! We love strolling through, catching live performances, and soaking in the city’s energy. It’s the perfect place to take a break and enjoy the beauty of Chicago. This is one of Angie’s and my favorite spots.

Cloud Gate

201 East Randolph Street, Chicago, IL 60602

When Angie and I first moved here, The Bean was closed for a year under construction, so we had to wait to get our classic Chicago photo. But we recommend going no matter the weather!

Navy Pier

600 East Grand Avenue, Chicago, IL 60611

We come here a few times a year, and when my sister Aileen and her husband Jordan visited for the third time, it was just as magical. Yes, it’s a little touristy, but it’s absolutely worth it. We love the stunning lake views, riding the Ferris wheel, and any excuse to sip a drink by the water.

Chicago Riverwalk

Chicago Riverwalk, Chicago, IL

Honestly, we love walking to and along the Riverwalk. It’s beautiful. Our favorite way to take in the city is strolling by the water at sunset, drink in hand, and just soaking it all in. One of our go-to spots is The Northman Beer & Cider Garden, the perfect place to sit, sip, and enjoy the view.

Second City Main Stage

1616 North Wells Street, Chicago, IL 60614

On our first trip to Chicago, we came here, and we highly recommend it! You’ll get some laugh-out-loud moments from the hilarious improv and sketch comedy. It’s the perfect spot for a fun night out.

Chicago Cultural Center

78 East Washington Street, Chicago, IL 60602

A true hidden gem just minutes from our home. This place is the essence of Chicago with its stunning architecture, beautiful exhibits, and free admission. It’s a must-visit, and trust us, the photos you’ll take here will be absolutely breathtaking.
