Question

What’s the dress code for the wedding ceremony?

Answer

Garden Formal Attire: Embrace the beauty of a wildflower garden with nature inspired hues—Marigold (golden yellow), Deep Blue (indigo), Sunset Tones (burnt orange, coral, warm red), and Rust (reddish-brown). Wear elegant long dresses, suits, or other formal attire in complementary shades. Please avoid white, sand, nude, purple, or rose/pink.

Question

What should I wear to the celebration dinner?

Answer

The venue is upscale, and the bride will be swapping her wedding dress for something more dressed down, so we encourage everyone to dress in a way that makes you feel your best for an evening of great food and celebration.

Question

What are some fun things to do during our free time?

Answer

If there's nothing scheduled, it's the perfect opportunity to explore! Chicago is an incredible city, and we've curated a list of our favorite spots in the Things to Do tab. Whether you're into shopping, sightseeing, or just taking in the city's energy, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

Question

Wedding Makeup and Hair

Answer

Bring inspiration photos with similar skin tone, facial features, and hair color to yours. Wash your hair the evening before with double shampoo and avoid oils. Come with clean, dry hair—damp or greasy hair doesn’t style well. If you have fine or thin hair, consider bringing 100% human hair clip-in extensions for extra volume. For makeup, come with a clean, moisturized face and groomed brows with no SPF.
