Attire is formal or semi-formal. We encourage guests to wear colors that speak to the lush and vibrant summer season meeting the cozy, warm-toned autumn. Think purples, magenta, green amaranthus, and biblical fruits (pomegranates, figs, green and purple grapes). See this link for some inspiration: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ylD7Bay2li5omRhlIfd9Q-TMR1KKKgF_f9Bb25c25ig/edit?usp=sharing Note: Please refrain from wearing white, which will be reserved for the bride.
We are arranging a hotel block at The Chase Park Plaza, but we understand if some guests would like to stay elsewhere. In that case, we recommend staying in either the Tower Grove Park area or the Central West End neighborhood—two neighborhoods centrally located near the wedding festivities. Tower Grove Park Area Including neighborhoods like Botanical Heights, Shaw and Tower Grove South, this area is known for its beautiful parks, tree-lined streets, and great local restaurants. This area tends to have more boutique lodging and Airbnb options, and is also close to the Missouri Botanical Garden. This is the neighborhood where both the wedding and reception venues will be located. Central West End A walkable, historic neighborhood with plenty of restaurants, cafés, and things to do. This area also offers several hotel options and is close to Forest Park and many popular attractions. This is the neighborhood where The Chase Park Plaza Hotel is located. Both neighborhoods are about a 10–15 minute drive from each other and offer easy access to wedding events and St. Louis highlights.
St. Louis is pretty easy to navigate and if you’re staying in the Central West End or Tower Grove, many restaurants and cafés are walkable, and the neighborhoods are only about 10–15 minutes apart by car. A rental car is optional but helpful if you plan to explore the city’s museums, neighborhoods, or parks at your own pace. Parking is generally available at hotels, and street parking is common in both areas. Uber and Lyft are convenient options and are widely available across the city. Public transit is also an option (MetroLink and the bus), but you might find rideshare or driving to be the easiest way to move between activities while here for the wedding.
The final RSVP date is not solidified, but we are currently thinking mid-July. We will open the RSVP form when we send out invitations!
