Question

Where and when are you getting married?Where and when are you getting married?

Answer

We are getting married at the Barn at Cedar Meadows, which is located at 1419 W 3000 N, Cedar City, UT 84721. The Ceremony will start promptly at 5:15 pm. We ask that guests arrive no later than 5:00 pm. Light refreshments will be available prior to the ceremony.

Question

Why are you getting married in Cedar City? Why are you getting married in Cedar City?

Answer

It may have come as a surprise to many of our guests that we decided to get married in a small town in Southern Utah, but Cedar City is a very special place to us! It is home to the Utah Shakespeare Festival, which Julie, Sam, and Julie's family attend every year (in fact, Julie's grandma has been attending the festival for over 50 years!). Cedar City is also a short drive from our favorite national park, Zion National Park. Every year, we vacation in Cedar City to enjoy the live theater, hike Zion and the local trails, and spend quality time with family. We couldn't have chosen a more meaningful place to start our new chapter together, and we are thrilled to show your our special town!

Answer

The welcome reception is a special event for us to greet and spend time with our guests before the big day. It will be held at I/G Winery in downtown Cedar City on Friday, June 21, from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm. Join us for an evening of good company, where we'll be serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, along with a buffet-style dinner. We look forward to kicking off the celebrations with you! (Please note that children are welcome at this event!)

Question

What is the dress code? What is the dress code?

Answer

There is no hard-and-fast dress code, but we're going for a "Garden Chic" vibe! Think floral dresses, pastel or bright colors, or a nice jumpsuit for the ladies, and light suits or a smart shirt and trousers for the guys. Feel free to add some nature-inspired touches to your outfit if you so choose. Just make sure you're comfy and ready to enjoy the day with us!

Question

What is the easiest way to get to and from the venue? What is the easiest way to get to and from the venue?

Answer

There are a couple of convenient options for getting to and from the venue. If you prefer to drive, there's plenty of easy parking available on-site. However, if you plan to enjoy drinks at the wedding, we encourage you to take advantage of our shuttle service. The shuttle will provide transportation to and from the venue, with stops at the Best Western Plus and Courtyard. This way, you can relax and enjoy the celebration safely!

Question

Will the venue be indoor or outdoor? Will the venue be indoor or outdoor?

Answer

Our celebration will feature a mix of both outdoor and indoor settings. The ceremony will take place outdoors, and it may be hot, so we encourage you to check the temperature as the date approaches. The cocktail hour will also be outdoors but in a shaded, covered space for your comfort. Dinner and dancing will be held indoors, providing a cool and comfortable environment to enjoy the evening festivities.

Question

What will the weather be like? What will the weather be like?

Answer

In June, Utah's weather can range from pleasantly warm to very hot. We know many of our guests will want to explore beautiful Sothern Utah during the trip, so we recommend checking the weather forecast as the date approaches to ensure you're prepared. Our ceremony will be held outdoors, but the cocktail hour and reception will be indoors and/or in a shaded area, so we hope everyone will be comfortable in this setting to enjoy the festivities.

Question
