The Sonesta recently bought out the Marriott, so if you previously booked with the Marriott, not to fear- they are still honoring those bookings! This is the second hotel room block we currently have, and is about a 13 minute drive without traffic- also 2 night minimum! Flight

T.F. Green Airport (Providence)

The T.F. Green Airport in Providence is the closest airport to the venue and hotels with our room blocks. It is about a 45 min-1 hour drive away from the venue. If you are traveling from Richmond, there is not normally a direct flight, but there are plenty of options that have a connecting flight in either Charlotte or Philly.

Boston Logan International Airport

Boston Airport is the second closest airport to the venue & hotel blocks, roughly about a 1.5-2 hour drive. If you are traveling from Richmond, there are direct flight options going to Boston versus none going to Providence, but take into account the longer travel time to and from the airport.

Train

Amtrak

Whenever we travel to and from Richmond and Rhode Island, we often use the train! The travel time if roughly 9 hours, but you are able to relax, watch downloaded TV and movies on your Kindel, read, eat; whatever your heart desires! Highly recommend looking into this option if you do not want to drive the whole way.

Travel Note

Driving by Car- I-95

If you choose to drive, below are some tricks and tips to cut down your travel: 1. Consider leaving VERY early or VERY late at night. I-95 is the route you will most likely take (assuming you're driving from either North Carolina or Richmond), and there are three pockets of traffic you have the potential to run into: DC traffic, NYC traffic and Connecticut traffic. The drive can be roughly 9-11 hours depending on the traffic. 2. Beware of the tolls! There are a ton of tolls all along I-95, so just make sure your E-Z Pass has proper funds! 3. If you're looking for a spot to stop along I-95, Christina Mall in Newark Delaware is a good mid-way point to exit for food if you are sick of highway rest stops. They have a food court plus a Panera’s and a Brio’s, and are close to freeway exit.
