What time should I arrive to the wedding?

Answer

For our 4 o'clock ceremony, please arrive at SkyView starting at 3:30pm. Please check out the "Schedule" tab to find out where you need to be and when for the weekend's festivities.

Tell me about Estes Park? What should I pack?

Answer

Estes Park (pronounced: ess-tus) sits at 7,522' (about 1.5 miles) above sea level. It is 1.5 hours drive from Denver Airport. Colorado gets 300 days of sunshine a year and it's a very dry climate. Once the sun sets in the mountains temperatures drop. Please bring a reusable water bottle and stay well-hydrated. We can't stress this enough! High elevation causes dehydration, shortness of breath and a lower tolerance to alcohol. Curbing these side effects with plenty of water is extremely important. Also bring multiple light layers, sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen and chapstick.

What is the weather like?

July in Estes Park has an average HI of 80º and LO of 51º. After sunset at 8:30 temperatures drop considerably. For July in the mountains we recommend packing many light layers.

What is Fall River Village and SkyView Lodge?

Answer

Fall River Village is a community of condos located just five walking minutes from downtown Estes Park. To learn more about the accommodations and setup, go to our Travels tab. For activities and places near Fall River Village, go to our Things To Do tab. SkyView Lodge is the onsite wedding venue at Fall River Village. That is where we'll be celebrating on Friday.

Can I Uber/Lyft around Estes Park?

Answer

Don't count on it. Yes, you will be able to get a Ride Share from Denver Airport to Estes Park. But getting a Ride Share to pick you up from Estes Park to return to the airport, or to go around a small mountain town is NOT reliable.
