If you're not coming by bike or taxi, the closest metro stop is Kongens Nytorv, a 15-20 minute walk away, past Nyhavn and across the bridge. You can also arrive directly Havnebåd (harbor-boat) to the stop 'Operaen', but please be aware the harbour boat can have a queue during rush hour and does not run so frequently, so check ahead.
The church is located in the neighbourhood of Vesterbro, just a few hundred meters from where we live. The closest metro stop is Enghave Plads, about 5 minutes walk from the church, alternatively we suggest pre-booking a taxi (+45 35 35 35). Please arrive by 13.00.
Getting to Gammel Strand: From Enghave Plads you can take the metro directly to Gammel Strand in 10 minutes. The boat departs around 100 meters from the metro stop. A taxi would also take around 10 minutes. There is a small wait between the church and the boat. If you don't wish to go back to your home/hotel/airbnb, Gammel Strand has plenty of bars and cafe's where you can start the toasting! The boat has standing and seating spots, indoors and outdoors, and drinks and small snacks will be served.
In true Copenhagen spirit, the party will take place in one of the old industrial halls, from the Burmeister & Wain shipyard era, since then it has been a plant market and greenhouse, now an event space with rustic roots! The party venue is just a few hundred meters from where the boat docks. Taxi is the easiest way home after the party.
