What time does the wedding start and end?

Answer

5:30 pm. Please arrive an early to allow time for parking and seating. The newlywed Rutledges will depart the wedding at 10:00 pm.

Is this wedding Christian?

Answer

Yes. People of all religions are welcome, but Cass and Julie seek to glorify Jesus in their wedding and to exemplify Christian virtue throughout their entire marriage. If you'd like to learn more, please ask Cass, Julie, or any other Christian about our faith.

How can I help the newlywed Rutledges?

Answer

Thanks for asking! We believe that marriage is not a task just for the couple getting married. First, please pray for us. Pray that we love each other, die to ourselves for each other, and glorify Christ together. Second, please encourage us in our marriage and to abide by the vows we made before you, each other, and God. Third, please lovingly hold us accountable.

Can I bring my plus one?

While we would love to meet your lovers, we sadly do not have room for anyone not listed on the invitation. The exception is if you are engaged or married!

We’d love to celebrate with everyone, but due to limited space, we can only host those listed on the invitation.

Yes, but do not drink too much.

Can I smoke my cigarette?

NO. Our Nigerian friend Chukwuemeka will shoot you with a water gun. However, there will be an area for classy cigar smoking.

Yes, but you may need to give your keys to a valet. Also, please carpool if able.

Generally no, but if your feet are jacked up like Cass's, please wear closed-toe shoes.

He has five brothers, a dad, and a cousin, and Julie has two brothers. Cass and Julie felt it important to include them all in addition to Cass's friends.
