FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving at the venue no later than 1:30pm and ask that you be in your seats by 1:45pm. The wedding ceremony starts promptly at 2pm. Please allow plenty of extra time to travel to the venue, especially if you want to grab a drink and explore Tinakilly House before the ceremony.

Question

Is there transportation to Tinakilly Country House?

Answer

There will be a coach bus organized to bring guests from Dublin City Centre to Tinakilly Country House. It will depart no later than 12pm on Saturday, July 12th 2025. The bus will have space below for luggage of all sizes. If you plan to use this service, please let us know in your RSVP so we have enough seats available. The pick up location address is: Hilton Garden Inn Dublin City Centre Custom House Quay, North Wall, Dublin 1, D01 V9X5

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is cocktail attire. This can be a cocktail dress, dressy jumpsuit, or suit and tie. Don't feel like you need to wear a tuxedo or ballgown, but please...no jeans or shorts! ;)

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones, but we have decided to keep our wedding day adults-only and appreciate your understanding.

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

We are opting out of a gift registry for the wedding as it'll be tricky transporting gifts from Ireland to the USA. Your presence at our wedding is gift enough, but, should you wish to give a gift as well, a cash gift to put towards our honeymoon would be greatly appreciated.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please make note in your RSVP whether you have a food allergy, and we will inform the venue. Tinakilly will accommodate any food allergies.

Question

How should I get home after the wedding?

Answer

There are multiple local taxi companies in Wicklow. We also recommend downloading the FreeNow app, which allows you to book a taxi on demand or in advance (similar to Uber or Lyft).

Question

Where should I stay in Dublin?

Answer

We recommend staying in the City Center. Dublin is very walkable, and you will have the best experience being in the heart of all the action. Some options for hotels: The Hilton Garden Inn Dublin City Center Clayton Hotel Burlington Road Mespil Hotel Wrens Nest If you have any questions, just let us know!
