✈️ Journey to Salt Spring Island The nearest airport is Victoria International Airport (YYJ) in North Saanich, just about a 20‑minute drive from downtown Victoria From YYJ, you have two great ferry options: Via Victoria: From the airport, take a taxi or BC Transit (Bus 70/72/88) to Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal (~15–60 min, ~$20 by taxi or ~$5–$10 by bus) BC Ferries then sails directly to Fulford Harbour on Salt Spring Island – about a 35‑minute crossing, running daily from early morning to around 8 pm Via Vancouver: Fly (or ferry) into Vancouver, then take a ferry from Tsawwassen to Salt Spring’s Long Harbour terminal
