When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than March 22, 2023 to allow our caterer enough time to plan accordingly.

Do I really need to RSVP?

Answer

Yes!! We want to make sure your silverware has been polished and that we save you a comfy seat, so please RSVP!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have limited seating available at our venue, so if your invitation was addressed “and guest” please feel free to bring a date.

What is the attire?

Answer

Let’s call it “Cocktail Attire”. Of course, the wedding party will be wearing long gowns and tuxedos. So, if that’s your thing go for it. Otherwise, just dress the way you’re most comfortable to dance the night away! Besides, sparkles are always appropriate!

Where do we park?

Answer

The Apiary will be providing complementary valet service. They will be parking cars in the Apiary lot, the adjacent pay lot, as well as street parking. The downtown area will be very busy because of Keeneland so we encourage you to take advantage. No charge to you, but please tip your valet for their amazing service!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

As you can imagine, we will be a little busy right up until we stroll down the aisle! The garden gates will open at 4:00.

Can we bring the little ones?

Answer

Parents, you deserve a date night! So, schedule that sitter early for the tiny ones. Our venue is located on a busy downtown street, and safety is of our utmost concern. Unfortunately, there will be no childcare available on site. However, tweens and teens should feel free to tag along and teach us all of their best dance moves!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Please click on the “Accommodations” page on this website to see our recommended hotels. Please note that the Keeneland Spring Meet will make booking hotels very difficult, so please reserve your rooms as soon as you get your “Save The Date” postcards.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Uber or Lyft are your best forms of transportation in the downtown Lexington area. Be prepared for extended travel times due to Keeneland traffic.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

The Keeneland Spring Meet will still be running during the weekend of our wedding. If you have an opportunity to go, we think you would enjoy this beloved Kentucky tradition. Because of this, the traffic will be especially heavy around the Versailles Road exit from New Circle Road; and Versailles Road/Man O War near the airport, so plan accordingly. There are also numerous Bourbon Tours in the area which are always a fun outing. Please see the "Things To Do" page for a couple of our recommended outings.
