As much as we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to venue capacity, only guests formally listed on the invitation will be able to attend unless otherwise noted. Thank you so much for understanding!

How far is the venue from the airport?

Answer

The closest airports are San Diego International Airport (SAN), John Wayne Airport (SNA), and the smaller local airport McClellan–Palomar Airport (CLD) in Carlsbad.

Where should we stay?

Answer

We have reserved a room block at Alila Marea Beach Resort Encinitas for our wedding weekend. We recommend booking early, as availability is limited. Additional nearby hotel options are listed on our Travel page.

When should I book my hotel?

Answer

We recommend booking accommodations as soon as possible to receive our discounted room block rate. October is a busy time in the area with many events taking place, so we want everyone who is able to stay nearby to have plenty of options and be close to all of the wedding festivities.

Where are you registered?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all! If you wish to celebrate with a gift, we’ve created a registry with a few things we’d love as we begin this next chapter together.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving 15–20 minutes before the 4:00 pm ceremony start time to allow time for valet, check-in, and seating before the ceremony begins.

What is the dress code?

Answer

If you are joining us for our Welcome Sunset Cocktails on Saturday, October 10th, the dress code is Coastal Cocktail Attire. For the wedding day, the dress code is Black Tie Attire. We can’t wait to celebrate with everyone dressed for a beautiful evening by the coast!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place at Alila Marea Beach Resort Encinitas. Valet parking will be available for all guests driving to the wedding day festivities.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

On Saturday, October 10th, we will be hosting Welcome Sunset Cocktails at 264 Fresco to welcome everyone to the wedding weekend.
