Matt and I met on December 9, 2023, in the most unexpected way. I had been invited to a birthday party in Los Angeles by a friend I went to TCU with, and before heading out, we all gathered at a house, one that I would soon learn belonged to Matt’s grandparents. The moment I stepped out of my Uber, I met Matt… and something just clicked. From that very first conversation, I had a feeling he was going to be someone incredibly special. We spent the entire night talking, laughing, and getting to know each other, completely losing track of time. Just three weeks later, we were on a plane to New York City for our first official date, and it was there that he asked me to be his girlfriend.
