They met on the dating app, Bumble, eight years ago, when Tricia first messaged Julian with: "How do you like your eggs?" It was a simple note, but Julian appreciated her casual charm and beauty. After a week of texting, she called Julian unprompted, very boldly at 8AM on Mother’s Day, to see if he passed the vibe check. Julian answered from his childhood room, very confused. They exchanged a few awkward sentences. Tricia and Julian agreed to meet the next day, Monday, May 14th, 2018, at 7PM. He brought her a single rose from the local West Philadelphia 7-Eleven (yes, really). The two wandered around 30th Street Station for 4 hours, talking about music, family (you, probably), art, dreams, and mostly nervous laughing. They found themselves on a swinging lime-green park bench, Market Street traffic occasionally drowning out the conversation, with the Center City skyline glowing above them, and the Schuylkill flowing quietly below. It was easy from the start, and many years and memories later, Tricia and Julian are ready to celebrate with all of you. Thank you for being a part of our special day and inspiring our love.
