Time for friends and family to get to know each other with games, lunch, and good vibes. Ellen Browning Scripps is a short walk from the Grande Colonial! We will be at the southern edge of the park, which is almost sectioned off by the trees. We’ll have a small tent, tables and chairs set up, so you shouldn’t be able to miss us!
Welcome Dinner

Attire: Colorful Cocktail - the brighter the better!!
Break out your most colorful attire and join us for dinner and drinks. This event is on a heated patio, but if you tend to get chilly bring a light layer to throw on. Please be prompt, food and bar service will begin right at 7PM. Complementary valet service is available. Mention you are with the event when you are dropping off the car.

Ceremony

Plan to arrive by 3:45. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4PM with or without you and Julian will be very upset if you are walking in at the same time as her :) There will be shuttles from the Grande Colonial hotel for guests staying at the hotel. If you are not staying at the hotel, please plan your own logistics to get to the Wedding Bowl. The final shuttle will leave by 3:40. If you are not on it, you will need to walk/Uber/get the valet to take you in a golf cart. We recommend arriving early anyway to enjoy the view and get some photos!
Reception

There will be shuttles to take you from the Wedding Bowl to the Cuvier Club for our reception. The shuttle will need to take multiple trips, so if you don’t get on the first shuttle and are burning to get that first glass of champagne at cocktail hour feel free to walk! It’s generally a short and lovely walk, but is a tad long if you’re in heels so use your best judgement.
