El Yunque is the only tropical rainforest in the U.S. National Forest Service. This natural treasure is an excellent destination if you want to be immersed in nature. This a must and one of our favorites thing to do in Puerto Rico. In Puerto Rico you can find three bioluminescent bays. Two located in the mainland, Laguna Grande in the town of Fajardo (east coast) and La Parguera near the town of Lajas (southwest coast). The third bay, mosquito bay, is located in the south shore of the island of Vieques. If you have never experienced putting your hand in water and it lighting up, you should definitely visit the Bioluminescent Bay Puerto Rico.
