It all started in the spring of 2016 when we met through our friend, Aquille, at Asbury University. We started hanging out at tennis matches and group outings with our friends. Eventually, we started hanging out just us two. After too many late night food runs and lots of karaoke in the car, we started dating in September of 2017.

In the summer of 2018, we took our first trip together to Colombia. During this trip, Emily met Julian's family for the first time. After spending some time with family in Bogota and Medellin, we traveled to Cartagena with Julian's brother, Juan David, and his girlfriend. After many fun adventures in Cartagena, Julian got down on one knee and proposed on our last day. Of course, there was no hesitation to say YES!!!!
