We're trying to be cute but here's the lowdown on what to wear to the wedding. Men: Suit and Tie Women: Cocktail to longer length dresses or a dressier/nice Jumpsuit
You can’t go wrong with either! If you like slightly spicy food, get the beef - it has a little kick to it. If you’re like Emily and can’t handle the heat, get the fish. 😂
All invitations have been addressed to those who are invited.
This was so hard for us because we love your kids but we want a small, intimate wedding. The only kids invited are our first cousins' kids. Thank you for understanding.
Aunts, uncles, grandparents and the wedding party are invited to rehearsal dinner. All guest are invited to meet us for night cap after rehearsal dinner at La Posada’s bar.
The weather will be warm during the day and cold at night and in the early morning. The typical average is a high of 63°F and a low of 39°F. Remember because we're in the desert at 7,000ft the sun is very strong during the day. If you are joining us for balloon fiesta, be sure to pack layers and bring a hat, gloves and maybe a scarf (especially if you run cold like Emily). Bring a light backpack or bag to put those layers in because once the sun rises you're gunna get hot.
There is not, however, all hotels are within walking distance to the wedding. Some hotels have a free shuttle that will drive you anywhere in a 5 mile radius for free. Please check with the hotel where you are staying to find out if a shuttle is available.
Unfortunately there is not free parking at La Posada. Guests who will be staying there will have a $10 parking fee applied to their bill if they have a car. Guests who are not staying at La Posada but choose to drive to the wedding will have a $5 parking fee.
This is completely a personal choice and depends on what you want to do. There's a train from ABQ airport that will bring you to Santa Fe. Most hotels will pick you up/drop you off anywhere within a 5 mile radius of your hotel but you should absolutely check with the hotel to make sure this is an option. There's also Uber and Lift in Santa Fe. If you're happy exploring downtown and don't want to venture out further, you probably don't need a car but again it's your choice.
