Booking hotels in ARMAÇÃO DOS BÚZIOS
When you are looking on booking.com or Expedia searching for hotels in BUZIOS, make sure your location is set to ARMAÇÃO DOS BÚZIOS. Any of the hotels near "Rua das Pedras" are walking distance to all great restaurants, beaches, and the venue. Click on the MAP feature of these sites as you will be able to see all the hotels based on pricing. The hotels closer to the venue are the ones on the NORTHERN part of the island. A boutique hotel will probably only cost you about $200-$400 for 4 days (Monday November 11 to Friday November 15 as an example), while a bougie one will be about $1,600 for those same 4 days. The prices you see on the booking website is for the whole time you are there, not per night.

Booking your stay outiside of the suggested hotels
I recently traveled to Buzios in January 2024 and for that short stay I looked up hotels on Hotels.com and had a great experience. If the suggested hotels below (which are just suggestions) are not in line with what you are looking for, feel free to browse other options. There are beautiful smaller boutique hotels right on the beach and in the heart of the city. I stayed at "Sofia's on the Beach" and had a wonderful experience. Buzios is a very safe area so anywhere you go you will be treated like you belong. That's the best thing about Brazilians, they are very warm and friendly.

This is the hotel we are staying at ;) This is the "bougie resort" style hotel, with great amenities and service. About a 10 minute uber car ride to town where the wedding will be and where the life of the tourist area is. Beach access right from the hotel. Walking distance from the venue where the wedding will be, and from all the local restaurants and shops. One of the fanciest hotels in the area and with great amenities. No beach access through it tho.
