Mother of the Bride
Sandi is incredibly determined, smart, and sweet. Without hesitation, Sandi devoted everything into Julie's violin career, managing, supporting, and encouraging her since day 1. Sandi would never let Julie settle as a violinist, and continues to ask Julie to practice even to this day. Julie is so thankful for all of her mom's love and support. Sandi would help her daughters with their homework every night and give them frequent math quizzes just for fun. Sandi is an expert writer and math-magician, Wheel-of-Fortune extraordinaire, double Valedictorian, champion of productivity, avid Yankee fan, and proud dog mom.
Scott Sharp
Father of the Bride
King of patience, Scott, is the best Father-of-the-Bride there could ever be. Scott is devoted to his family and his work as an IT Network Security Engineer. He rarely says no to his wife and supports Julie in her music career as well. He is a lover of boating and house-flipping, the Yankees, tropical vacations, and can solve any problem by himself. He is fun, adventurous, and easy-going. Mr. Fix-It is the most mellow fellow you'll meet.
Jackie Chen
Mother of the Groom
Loving, selfless, and practical woman, Jackie is the queen of wisdom and champion of generosity. Her devotion to her family is unparalleled and inspirational. Jackie is the most sacrificial woman Dan knows, always putting others before herself. Jackie is an accountant and also enjoys her plants, long walks, and serving her church. Jackie inspires Dan to live his full potential, and Dan is so proud of his sweet mom.
John Chen
Father of the Groom
Smart, considerate, and always happy John is the most positive and encouraging father. He always looks at the big picture and stays motivated to accomplish any task with a smile. John is a pivotal role model for Dan as he is hardworking, ambitious, and always leading by example. John is an electrical engineer and also a deacon in his church. Dan's parents sacrificed everything to come to the US and start a new life for the sake of their family. Dan is forever grateful for his parents' love, support, and encouragement.
Caitlin Ashley Sharp
Maid of Honor
Sister of the Bride Caitie is the sweetest, dearest sister ever. She is hilarious, easy-going, and compassionate. Caitie was Julie's best friend throughout her childhood and they loved to do everything together. Caitie loves anime shows, color-guard, watching UCONN women's basketball, and is a world champion at the phone game Wordament. Her determination and incredible intellect carried her to the top of her class at Gettysburg College. She is now a Neuroscience PhD student at the University of Rochester.
Yun Han

Dear Friend of the Bride Yun and Julie met at Meadowmount the Summer of 2015 and have been inseparable ever since they met. Yun is so funny, so sweet, and so endearing, passionate about her work and dear friends. A date with Yun is a date full of laughs! Yun's loving nature and motivation to succeed as the best cellist in the world landed her at the prestigious Colburn School in Los Angeles and Yale School of Music. Fun Fact: Yun and Julie attended Juilliard-Pre-College the same time but didn't know each other until the Summer after!
Amrita Singh

Dear Friend of the Bride Despite both being great high-school violinists from Connecticut, Amrita and Julie first met at Meadowmount the Summer of 2014 and quickly became best friends. Julie always snuck into Amrita's room after curfew where they talked, played cards, and attempted to learn Chinese. Amrita is the smartest and most endearing person Julie knows. Amrita is so bright, wise, and practical, yet very loving, selfless, and sweet. Amrita graduated from Columbia University and now attends medical school at Yale.
Micaela Marie Murphy

Dear Friend of the Bride Micaela is Julie's first and best friend from the Cleveland Institute of Music. Micaela, expert violist from Missouri, was Julie's Freshman year roommate and the two bonded instantly. Micaela's bubbly, beautiful personality helped Julie blossom. Her positivity, generosity, and incredible outlook on life continues to inspire Julie daily. All of Julie's favorite memories from CIM include Micaela and groomsman Max. Micaela graduated CIM and continues to teach viola and perform throughout the Cleveland area.
David Chen
Best Man
Brother of the Groom Although Dan was born in Oklahoma, David was born in Shanghai, China, and came to the US as a young child before Dan was born. David and Dan watched Westerns together and David encouraged Dan in football. David has great admiration for successful business people.
John Lombardo

Dear Friend of the Groom John met Dan through InterVarsity Christian group at UCONN and the two soon became close friends. John's lively, happy personality, great character, and strong faith make him such a positive influence. Dan and John were roommates senior year and their friendship bonded even more through church and community groups. John is an engineer who loves exercising, being outdoors, fellowship, good vegan food, friends, family, and Jesus.

Dear Friend of the Groom Steve and Dan met at a chess tournament in grade school and soon became best friends at Amity High School. Steve is outgoing, personable, social, ambitious, super cool, and incredibly loyal. In high school, Dan and Steve made music, vlogs, edited videos, and always had a great time. Steve is into finance, good workouts, great food, and positive Cali vibes.
Robert Porter

Danny and Rob met at UCONN's IV Christian group. Rob is amazing at baseball, knows some killer dance moves, has a great sense of humor, and is also great at bowling. On top of this, Rob has a hidden talent for rapping. He is strong in his faith and a great man of God's word.
Arun George

Danny and Arun also met at UCONN IV group. Arun was Danny's roommate in college and they became close friends. Arun is a computer science legend and is also very funny. He is the founder of the George Foundation for the Hungry, always putting the needs of others first.
Maxwell Morgan

Dear Friend of the Bride Max, Micaela, and Julie became a trio Freshman year and spent so much time together. They even went to Niagara Falls and Chicago (long story). Max is uplifting, encouraging, supportive, and faithful to his friends and his work. Max and Micaela, who now have been dating for over a year, are loyal friends forever. Max studied bass at CIM and pursued his additional passion as a luthier, becoming the most appreciated luthier in the Cleveland area and is recognized all over the country for his talent and high craftsmanship.
