On February 28, 2018, Danny, a college senior at the University of Connecticut, first connected with Julie, Cleveland Institute of Music violinist. The two matched on the dating app, Coffee Meets Bagel, a network designed for meaningful connection. Although finding someone online has a bad reputation, both Julie and Danny knew exactly what they were looking for--a Christian partner with ambition and a kind soul. Right from the first date on March 23, 2018, Julie kept a detailed journal of every moment they spent together, sensing from Danny's good character and respect that he was the one. Even though the majority of their relationship was long distance as Danny received his Masters in Quantitative Economics at UCONN and Julie was finishing up her degree at CIM, the couple grew closer and more in love through their courtship and daily video chats which included a Bible Study or devotional. Growing together as one with God at the center of the relationship has made the couple truly thrive with love for their heavenly father as well as for each other. Danny supported Julie through tough times, never stopped believing in her, and encouraged her to be the best woman, child of God, and future wife she could be. Julie always brought out the best in Danny, as well, loving him unconditionally and supporting him in his endeavors as a data scientist. On February 29, 2020, Julie arrived at Blue Back Square ready to play a gig for a woman and her husband, but Danny was waiting there instead with a huge smile on his face. Julie ran to greet him and he got on one knee and asked her to marry him. Daniel and Juliana's story is only just beginning with the lifelong commitment they publicly proclaim in God's home. May their love for each other continue to reflect God's unending love for them as they eventually build a family of their own.
