City Grille & Raw Bar has that lively, come‑as‑you‑are charm that makes it an easy favorite. The oysters are fresh and briny, the kind you order “just one more round” of without thinking twice, and the cocktails bring plenty of personality to the table. The bar is especially fun — a comfortable spot to settle in with a drink while you take in the steady flow of people around you. It’s relaxed, upbeat, and perfect for anyone who likes a little people‑watching with their evening.
Oceana
Oceana is a wonderful spot—perfect for a cozy date night or even a solo treat-yourself evening. It may be small, but that just makes it all the more intimate. And may we suggest their Vietnamese Seafood Stew? It’s incredible. Plus, their cocktails are so yummy… one might just lead to two.
Aardwolf Brewing Company
Not into cocktails? Totally fine—we’re big beer fans too, and Aardwolf never disappoints. Everything on tap is solid, and the brewery’s got that moody-cool vibe with its exposed brick. The atmosphere is laid-back, and before you know it, a couple of beers in, you’re laughing, chilling, asking Siri, “Wait… who’s singing this song?”—and suddenly realizing time has completely slipped away.
The Bearded Pig
If you’re visiting from somewhere that doesn’t do bar-b-que, lucky you—San Marco’s got one of the best joints in town! Heading there with a crew? The San Marco platter is the way to go (trust us, it’s a feast). And don’t worry, they’ve got you covered on drinks too—beer, cocktails, and a selection that’s downright awesome.
European Street Cafe
European Street knows how to do happy hour right—BOGO beers from 4–7, yes please! Grab a couple of Blue Max minis, or some roast beef and cheddar sliders, along with a side of chips and their spicy mustard for dipping. *chefs kiss*

Foxtail Coffee Co & Kelly’s Ice Cream - San Marco
Foxtail Coffee may be a chain from Orlando, but their brews are consistently delicious! They’ve got a few breakfast bites, though we’d say it’s more of a go-to for your caffeine fix. And here’s a fun twist—if it’s 2PM and you’re feeling like swapping coffee for a cold one, they’ve got Mocama beer on tap, straight from Fernandina.

Friendship Fountain, located along the Southbank, is a beautiful spot to take in the Jacksonville skyline. Stop by after 7PM and you might catch one of their nightly shows.
Southbank Riverwalk/RiversEdge Park
The Southbank is a scenic riverwalk along the St. John’s River, offering beautiful views of the Jacksonville skyline. While it’s more about soaking in the sights than activities, it’s the perfect spot for a leisurely stroll and some great photo ops.
