Officiant
I met Sue my first day on the job as a newly hired Chicago Public School teacher. Sue's vivacious and energetic personality welcomed me with open arms. She quickly became a mentor, but more importantly a great friend. Sue was always determined to find me a perfect match. When she discovered my new love for Bill she was over the moon. Sue instantly became Bill's biggest fan. She saw the love and happiness that grew between us and knew we were meant to be. Without a doubt we knew Sue was the perfect choice in helping us say "I do".
Matron of Honor
My oldest and dearest friend. We've known each other since birth and have been classmates since preschool. Julie is family. She has never missed a birthday party and we still manage to chat on the phone for hours on end almost everyday. Julie is always there-the good and the bad, which I am most grateful for. I can be my true self in front of her, whether it's crying for hours or laughing uncontrollably. I am one lucky girl to have a life long friend stand beside me.
Bridesmaid
Justine and I grew up across the street from one another, where the best types of friendships evolve. We ran around the neighborhood and drove our parents nuts. We survived the chaotic teen years together and still have a strong running friendship today. Justine is extremely generous in so many aspects. She sees the best side of people and is always so supportive. Her loyalty makes it hard not to keep her by your side. I am grateful for the childhood memories we've shared and the ones that are still to come. Thank you for being a friend!
Bridesmaid
Besties since 1st grade. Concerts, street fests, and walks around the city...Em makes any adventure so much more fun. She has always been there to give the best advice and simply just listens when I need an ear to vent. We can spend countless hours chatting over bottles of wine and the end result is always laughter. Emily wears her heart on her sleeve and is devoted to making a friendship last a lifetime. She is a true keeper and I am lucky to call her a forever friend.
Bridesmaid
College roommate to the bride. Crystal and I met freshman year at Indiana University. We became instant friends and were inseparable throughout most of college. Some may pass us for sisters, which is why sharing a college ID made it quite simple! Even though we live a few hours apart our friendship is as strong as ever. When we are together we are as thick as thieves and one could only hope to get a word in. Crystal is my sounding board. She gives advice like no other, but always leads with a loving heart. She's one in a million and I love her to pieces!
Bridesmaid
Sister to the groom. When Katie was younger she always had the special treatment, but most likely deserved it having Jimmy and I as older brothers. As kids, we protected Katie but also made her stronger by picking on her and playing sports with her. Katie has now become the mother of the three most amazing boys ever and being their Uncle is my most favorite thing. Katie has always been my toughest critic, but she has now become my best friend. I am so happy to finally give Katie a sister, someone with whom she can collaborate with when giving me fashion advice or chat with over wine. Thank you for being my one and only favorite sister!
Best Man
Mike and I met in high school at Loyola and have been friends ever since freshman year math class. Mike introduced me to golf and Sunset Ridge CC. We still enjoy every moment on the course together, no matter who is winning all the money! Mike is not only a best friend, but also a mentor. He challenges me to be the best version of myself, except one particular time in college when I lured him into taking a final for me. Mike has pushed me in my professional life as well as offered support and guidance in my personal life. I am forever thankful for Mike's friendship, countless memories on the golf course and the hundreds of dollars I have lost in gambling with him over the years.
Best Man
Ever since first grade, Kevin and I have been best of friends. The first time I got in trouble at school was Kevin's fault, although he may tell you otherwise. When we were younger we would go on numerous ski trips. One particular time Kevin sent me into a tree skiing, which resulted in an ambulance ride to the hospital after being knocked out! Most recently we've had the best of times on the golf course, having numerous battles ending in the dark, racing to get all 18 holes complete. Kevin and I have always competed against one another, but at the end of the day we always have each other's backs.
Groomsman
Brother to the groom. My first friend and the most loyal brother any one could ever ask for. Jimmy was always there to protect me as his little brother, even if we did not always agree on things. As kids, Jimmy and I shared a small room with bunk beds, which brought on challenges of their own. However, at the end of the day, he was still my best friend and protector. Today I am lucky to have an older brother who would do anything to help me out and watch over me no matter the situation.
Groomsman
Brother to the bride. We couldn't be more different, but I wouldn't trade in my younger brother for anything, well maybe when I was 13 years old I would have considered it! He introduced me to the Blackhawks, which resulted in many brother/sister hockey games, even a Stanley Cup game! We can spend countless hours sitting on "the patio" at our lake house reminiscing about our childhood and the goofy things our parents put us through. Through it all, we are blessed to be raised by two loving parents who instilled the importance of family.
Ring Bearer
AKA "Ring Masters". Nephews to the groom, but they have already grown to love their future Aunt Julia. These cuties bring joy and happiness wherever you go. Their lovable spirit brings contagious smiles. Liam has grown to be an awesome big brother and Connor will mimic the same when baby Dylan gets a bit older. When you see these two walking down the aisle your heart will melt.
