In 2005 Julia and Bill met through mutual friends and continued their friendship on social media. Fast forward 15 years later...Bill sent Julia a message admiring her love of travel. It was a few messages later that Julia decided this was a good time to ask Bill for some golf lessons. Bill used the "golf lessons" to his advantage and convinced Julia to go on a date with him in return for future golf lessons! The date quickly happened and as they say, the rest is history! Julia is definitely a work in progress on the golf course but Bill enjoys having Julia as his new favorite caddie!

Julia's creativity of starting 'theme date nights' during Quarantine 2020 was very helpful in making the proposal a memorable evening. In the comfort of our small, cozy condo the theme for the week was Steak & Bubbles. Since champagne was going to be a part of the evening, Bill figured it made the most sense to have a real reason to celebrate. After dinner, Julia poured 2 glasses of bubbles and began to organize the board game activity for the evening. Bill decided to make this "date night" one that Julia would never forget. Bill got down on one knee in the living room and before they knew it, they were engaged! She said YES amongst tears of joy and love!
