Julia and Travis met rock climbing late summer of 2016. They continued to stay friends until called out by Travis' mom in the fall of 2017 during a family get together where they then reevaluated their relationship and switched to officially dating. Now, after four years of long distance during college, Travis moving to join Julia in North Carolina in December 2022, and proposing in Asheville in December 2024, they are ready to tie the knot (and not the figure-8 type this time).
