FAQs

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us!
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Due to the intimate setting of our wedding, we would prefer an RSVP as soon as you are able to answer. However, we have listed May 17th as our RSVP date.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Celebrating with you on our special day is the only gift we require. However, for your convenience, we have registered at Amazon, and Zola for the items we’d find the most useful as we prepare for married life! You can view our registry under the "registry" tab.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Our wedding venue, the Vizcaya, is located in Sacramento. This venue is street parking, so we recommend arriving early to get a space.

Question

Do I need to be vaccinated?

Answer

Our venue requires that all guests, vendors, and staff either have two doses of a Covid-19 vaccine, or a negative covid test 72 hours prior to the event.

Question

I am completely vaccinated. Do I have to wear a mask?

Answer

All guests who are seated during the ceremony need to wear masks throughout the ceremony. After the ceremony, masks will be required again for ALL: wedding party, guests, parents, etc.. This includes outdoor and indoor locations.

Question

What is an acceptable proof of vaccination?

Answer

Vaccination card (which includes name of person vaccinated, type of vaccine provided and date last dose administered) OR a photo of a vaccination card as a separate document OR a photo of the attendee’s vaccine card stored on a phone or electronic device OR documentation of vaccination from a healthcare provider.

Question

Will they check my vaccination card?

Answer

Vizcaya is responsible for checking guests’ proof of vaccination or proof of a negative COVID test at the entrance of your event. No entry is permitted without vaccination or proof of a negative test, no exception. This includes the couple, parents, wedding party, etc. Vizcaya will require guests to show their proof and their matching government issued ID. (i.e. passport or license).
