Fair Trade Coffee House is Ryan and Julia's most-visited coffee place in Madison! The berry mascarpone cake and cold brew are favorites.
Saturday on the Square Farmer's Market
One of Ryan and Julia's favorite Saturday morning activities is to visit the Dane County Farmer's Market at the Capitol. Be sure to visit Stella's Bakery and one of the many flower stands to get the full Madison experience!
Henry Vilas Zoo
Always a family favorite, Henry Vilas Zoo is a free Madison not far from where Julia and Ryan lived as undergraduates. Be sure to check out Zuzu Cafe for coffee and lunch after you visit the animals!
Leopold's Books Bar Caffè
This is one of the places Ryan and Julia often take their friends from out of town for cocktails, coffee, or dessert; check out the assortment of books available while sipping on an espresso martini or Manhattan!
Memorial Union
A perfect place for a meal, a pitcher, and some ice cream with an incredible view of Lake Mendota. Memorial Union also offers kayak and paddleboarding rentals which Ryan and Julia highly recommend!
Quivey's Grove Restaurant
Ryan and Julia have been to Quivey's Grove multiple times with family and friends to celebrate many milestones throughout the years. While they do not take reservations, it is well worth the wait!
University of Wisconsin–Madison Arboretum
When they lived downtown, Ryan and Julia frequented the Arboretum for scenic bike rides. There are several miles of trails, canoe and kayak rentals, and designated fishing areas for you to enjoy!
