The pandas are back!!! (As of August 2024- such a bid deal in SD) In our opinion this is a must do while in San Diego! Take the SkyFari ride as soon as you get there and work your way through the zoo from back to front
The San Diego Zoo is in Balboa Park but it is also home to tons of museums, a koi pond, and the Botanic Building (currently under construction). Panama 66 is a great stop for drinks, bites, and live music! We also love taking visitors to the Japanese Friendship Garden
Drive over the bridge to visit the iconic Hotel Del Coronado! We love getting a drink and snack at the beach-side restaurant there. Other recommendations for Coronado: Little Frenchie Bistro, The Henry, Bay Books, Brigantine
This is a great way to see many different areas of San Diego! It even drops you off on Coronado and is a great way to get there without thinking about parking a car. Free parking at their Old Town location!
