Please plan to arrive no later than Friday, June 25. Traveling to Orcas involves a flight or drive followed by a ferry, so arriving on the day of the wedding is not recommended. We would love for you to settle in, enjoy the island, and begin the celebration feeling relaxed.
Most guests will fly into Paine Field or Sea-Tac, drive to the Anacortes ferry terminal, and take the Washington State Ferry to Orcas Island. Kenmore Air also offers direct flights from Seattle to the island. Please visit our Travel page for detailed recommendations.
We strongly recommend having access to a car if you plan to explore the island. Orcas is larger and more spread out than it may appear, and rideshare services like Uber and Lyft are not available. Local taxis and rental cars are available but should be reserved in advance.
The ceremony and reception will be held at a private home in Eastsound. The full address and arrival instructions will be shared in the coming months.
Yes. The ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner are planned to take place outdoors on grass. We recommend choosing shoes that will be comfortable on a lawn and bringing a light layer for the evening.
Late June on Orcas is typically mild and beautiful, but Pacific Northwest weather can change throughout the day. We recommend bringing layers when packing.
Our wedding ceremony and reception will be adults-only. However, we completely understand that some guests may want to turn the trip into a longer family vacation, and children are more than welcome to join you on Orcas Island (we would love to see them!). We simply ask that you arrange childcare during the wedding celebration.
Due to the intimate size of our celebration, we’re only able to accommodate the guests specifically named on each invitation.
Parking at the venue will be very limited. One of the island’s local taxi services will be reserved and on call for our guests throughout the celebration. We’ll share more information about pickups, drop-offs, and day-of transportation closer to the wedding.
Coming soon!
Please RSVP by March 26th, 2027
As early as possible! June is a popular time to visit Orcas Island, and lodging, rental cars, and flights are limited. We recommend booking your accommodations first, followed by your flights or rental car. The summer ferry schedule and vehicle reservations will be released closer to the wedding, and we’ll share an update when it’s time to book your sailing.
