Things To Do

If you're looking for things to do in the area near the wedding ceremony and reception, here are some options that we recommend.
Streets of Woodfield

Streets of Woodfield

601 North Martingale Road, Schaumburg, IL 60173

This is an open-air shopping, dining and entertainment destination. If you'd like somewhere to sit and relax there are cafés and bars to choose from, or if you prefer to have some fun there is Dave & Buster's, Legoland, BullsEye Axe Throwing Lounge, and AMC theater. You can also take the free trolley from here to Woodfield Mall (https://www.villageofschaumburg.com/government/transportation/woodfield-trolley).

Historic Downtown Long Grove

Historic Downtown Long Grove

145 Old McHenry Road, Long Grove, IL 60047

This town is ten minutes from the reception venue and is one of our favorite places to hangout in the summer. It's picturesque and has plenty to do and see. The Sock Monkey Museum is a little hidden curiosity we particularly enjoyed.

Woodfield Mall

Woodfield Mall

5 Woodfield Mall, Schaumburg, IL 60173

Woodfield Mall is the main shopping mall in the area and a great place to stroll, drink, eat, and relax.

Lynfred Winery

Lynfred Winery

15 South Roselle Road, Roselle, IL 60172

A lovely winery with seasonal offerings and small bites. We enjoyed the wines and atmosphere here very much.

Pollyanna Brewing Company - Roselare

Pollyanna Brewing Company - Roselare

245 E Main Street, Roselle, IL 60172

Polyanna Brewery has been our weekend haunt for a few years now and it really comes to life in the summer. If you're alcohol-free, we recommend their Hop Water!

Schaumburg Town Square

Schaumburg Town Square

200 South Roselle Road, Schaumburg, IL 60193

Schaumburg Town Square is a five minute drive from St. Hubert Catholic Church. It features a pond, gazebos, seating and a number of shops to enjoy coffee, ice cream, frozen yogurt, and bubble tea. It's also the location of the Schaumburg Public Library and Bonefish Grill.
