Point Reyes National Seashore: One of the most beautiful coastal spots in California! Beaches, hiking, oysters, and the lighthouse. It’s a special place. Marin French Cheese Company: Perfect for a casual picnic with wine and cheese by the creek. Simple and very Marin. Sonoma Wine Country: Charming wineries and scenic vineyards just about 30 minutes away. Easy and fun day trip. Grab a refreshing wine slushy while you’re there! Napa Valley: A classic California experience with beautiful views, amazing wine, and great restaurants. We especially love Peju Winery! Downtown Novato: Cute and walkable with great coffee, brunch spots, and little shops. Bodega Bay: Rugged coastline, fresh seafood, and gorgeous ocean views. Perfect for a scenic drive. You can visit the historic The Tides Wharf & Restaurant featured in the film The Birds!
Explore San Francisco
San Francisco is about 40 minutes south and always worth exploring. One of our favorite things to do is take the ferry into the city. It’s relaxing, scenic, and such a fun Bay Area experience. Golden Gate Ferry: Catch it from the Larkspur Ferry Terminal or Sausalito Ferry Terminal for beautiful Bay views and an easy ride into San Francisco.

Brewsters Beer Garden: Fun, lively, and one of our favorite spots! Great food, drinks, and a big outdoor patio. HopMonk Tavern Novato: Laid-back and easy with good food and craft drinks. A great local option. Scoma's of Sausalito: Classic waterfront seafood with beautiful views.
