Just 30 minutes to the venue, Leonardtown is a beautiful little town on the water! The Rex Restaurant and Bar, Social Coffeehouse, and The Front Porch are all favorites. The new Sweetbay Restaurant and Bar looks enticing as well. All restaurants are a block or less away from the hotel.

Closest to the venue with a 15 minute drive, the Comfort Inn & Suites has easy access to St. Mary's College and plenty of restaurants and grocery stores all along Three Notch Road.

The Hilton is 30 minutes from the venue, but situated just before the Solomons Island bridge. The Ruddy Duck Restaurant (a tried and true favorite!) is just a quick walk across a parking lot, and AnneMarie Gardens is a beautiful park and gallery a five minute drive away. Solomons Island, a quick drive down the road, is an adorable town with a boardwalk and plenty of good eats by the water!

Airbnb
Airbnbs are another option for housing! However, in Southern MD the Airbnb supply is limited, so we recommending booking as soon as you can. You might even be able to score a little waterfront bungalow!
Flight
Baltimore Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI)
BWI is the easiest airport to navigate out of the three, but it is about 2 hours away from the venue. Unfortunately there is no bus system or public transportation from Baltimore to St. Mary's, so we recommend renting a car.
Flight
Reagan National Airport (DCA)
Reagan International is 1 hour and 45 minutes to the venue and is one of the busiest airports in the area. There is a commuter bus system that runs from DC to Prince Frederick (45 minutes to the venue), however this bus system only runs from Monday to Friday and only during commuting hours. Flight
Dulles International Airport (IAD)
Dulles International Airport is the furthest from the venue at 2 hours and 15 minutes. The are no bus routes from IAD to the venue, so we recommend renting a car if flying into this airport.
Train
Amtrak
If you live on the East Coast, another alternative to flying is taking an Amtrak train. The closest station to the venue at 1 hour and 35 minutes is New Carrollton, MD. For a map Amtrak routes, check out https://amtrakguide.com/routes/.
