FAQs

Question

What if I have come in contact with someone who tested positive for Covid, have tested positive for Covid myself or have cold/flu-like symptoms?

Answer

If you have come in contact with someone who tested positive for Covid, recently tested positive for Covid yourself or have cold/flu-like symptoms, we ask that you receive a negative test prior to attending our celebration. If you are unable to attend due to any of the above reasons, please let us know as soon as possible. You will be missed, however, we ask that you do not attend if you have tested positive for Covid, or are unable to get tested prior to our celebration. Thank you for your understanding!

Question

What precautions are you taking to prevent the spread of Covid-19 and keep your guests safe?

Answer

Due to the rise in Covid cases, we will continue to take precautions that place the health and safety of our guests, especially our most vulnerable family & friends, as our top priority. We sincerely hope that you will support us in making this day as safe as possible. Respectfully, any unvaccinated guests will be required to wear a mask during our event when not actively eating or drinking. If you are unvaccinated and unable to or uncomfortable with wearing a mask, we understand but regret to ask that you do not attend our event. If you are interested in joining us virtually, please let us know as we will be able to provide Webcam coverage. Any guests who would be more comfortable wearing a mask are welcomed to do so as well. Hand sanitizing will also be encouraged. Please reach out to David & Julia directly with any questions or concerns @ 219-629-3149 or 219-688-2910! With Love, David & Julia

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list in order to stay on budget and adhere to capacity limits and can only accommodate those who are listed on the formal wedding invitation.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we would love to invite everyone's children, we just don't have the space. We hope you are able to make arrangements and enjoy the evening with us!

Question

Can we take photos of the wedding?

Answer

Our ceremony will be unplugged. This means that we respectfully ask that you put any cameras or cell phones away for our ceremony. We have a wonderful photographer who will be capturing every moment and we will be happy to share these photos with you as soon as we've received them.

Question

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception will be taking place at the same location, Aberdeen Manor. The ceremony will take place in the Chapel, and the reception will take place in the ballroom.
