Music Box Theatre
Our favorite movie theater in Chicago hands down, it's got indie and arthouse releases you won't see in the multiplex, plus a full bar and cocktail lounge and outside patio. For big events, there's even an organist!
The Art Institute of Chicago
Come check out some classic and modern art - or just reenact that tableau from Ferris Bueller's Day Off.
The Field Museum
One of our favorite museums in the city, it's full of great art and artifacts - plus Sue the T-Rex!
Lincoln Square
We love our neighborhood, especially the town square - full of great shopping, bars, resturants and the Davis Theater!
Wicker Park
The 'hip' part of Chicago, it's not far from where we used to live (Bucktown), and full of awesome used bookstores, vintage shops, and great food!
Theater in Chicago
Chicago's one of the great theater cities in the country - from Lookingglass to Steppenwolf to the hundreds of storefront theater companies in the neighborhoods, there's a lot to choose from to whet your creative whistle. (Ask Julia for recommendations!)
The Second City
Chicago's known for its improv scene, so take in a show while you're here at one of the city's greatest incubators for future comic talent.
Logan Square Farmers Market
We had our first date here! It's a cute neighborhood farmer's market, full of fresh produce, smiling faces, and tasty products from local Chicago businesses.
The Bristol
A Michelin-star restaurant just a block from our old place in Bucktown, this is one of the best places in the city for upscale dining.
Fork
Our current go-to for a nice dinner in our neighborhood of Lincoln Square, Fork has a great menu and wonderful drink options. We highly recommend the duck club!
Little Goat Diner
An upscale diner courtesy of Top Chef winner Stephanie Izard, it's one of our favorite places to take family and friends.
Pequod's Pizza
Forget Chicago-style deep dish - this pizza joint has the best pie in the city. It's traditional deep dish, cooked in cast-iron pans to get their signature caramelized crust. It's literally the slice that made Clint want to move to Chicago.
