Where Is The Wedding?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be at The Shapiro Ballroom, located at 1612 W Chicago Ave, Chicago, IL 60622 in Chicago's West Town neighborhood.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Doors will open at 5:30pm, and the ceremony starts promptly at 6pm.

What's the Dress Code?

Answer

We're shooting for cocktail attire: button-downs, slacks, dresses and the like. Presentable, but comfortable; don't feel pressure to be too fancy-schmancy.

Can I Bring a Plus-One?

Answer

If your invitation says "and Guest," we'd love for you to bring a plus-one. Otherwise, we'd prefer it if you just brought your dazzling self!

Are Kids Invited?

Answer

We love your kids - we really do. But we'd like to make our wedding your night off! To that end, we'd appreciate you making accommodations for your kids while you're at the ceremony and reception, and we can all make time together to celebrate later that weekend!

Is There Transportation To and From the Wedding?

See the Travel page for more details! Long story short, we'd love it if you took a cab or Lyft/Uber from your particular accommodation to the venue. Or, if you're familiar with the CTA, the Division Blue Line station is just a couple blocks away from the venue. If you do drive, there is ample paid street parking on Chicago Ave. and on Ashland Ave.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

While street parking is available within reason on Chicago Ave., we'd much prefer you not have to worry about driving. We recommend ordering a cab or Lyft/Uber to and from the venue!
