If you are able to squeeze in a day at the beach or even a few hours, the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk is a great place to walk around, visit restaurants, and enjoy live music, all right on the beach. The address included is for one of the few parking garages located on the boardwalk, although there are many options for street parking.
Fort Lauderdale Beach is another great area to enjoy your time by the shore. We've included the address for one of the larger parking lots available, although there are smaller ones and limited street parking available just blocks away heading north on A1A.
This is one of Julia and Cameron's favorite spots for good Mexican food. It can get busy on the weekends, we recommend making reservations and ordering the table side guacamole!
This is a Mediterranean spot located inside the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina. There are outdoor (rooftop) and indoor seating options. Fun fact this was the last place Cameron took Julia on a dinner date before he proposed and also located inside the hotel of their wedding reception!

This is a pretty big area of a hotels, restaurants, and stores. There is something for everyone here. You can find a Lime, Playa Bowls, Comedy Club, Regal Movie Theater, Bowlero, Anthropoligie, Crema, Pura Vida, and Cooper's Hawk just to name a few!
This is an outdoor spot for dinner or just to stop and grab a drink and some appetizers.
This was one of Julia's favorite spots that she would visit during PA school after an early morning run with one of her best friends. If you get there early enough, you'd be lucky to grab some of the best cinnamon rolls.
This is a historic ice cream parlor in Dania beach popular among tourists. Don't be intimidated by the long line for the window service, it goes by fast!
If this is your first time visiting south Florida and you find yourself in Miami, this is one the most famous Cuban restaurants. Be prepared to wait with many other tourists, but know that it is worth it!
