There are plenty of lodging options available in the Charleston area. Due to the small size of our wedding, there will not be a traditional hotel block. However, we recommend staying downtown to get the full Charleston experience. If staying in a group, there are also plenty of Airbnb and Vrbo options in the area. If you are flying into Charleston, you may want to consider renting a car for the weekend. Otherwise, Uber/Lyft will be your best bet for getting around. Public transportation options in the area are quite limited. Heads up - there may be some traffic getting to the venue on Sunday AM, especially if you are staying downtown, in Mt. Pleasant, or on one of the barrier islands. Please plan ahead to ensure arrival by 10:30am! Once you arrive at Runnymede, you will make your way down a long wooded driveway. If you have driven yourself, you will be directed to a large parking lot to the right by the tent. There will be more than enough parking for all guests but feel free to carpool or call a ride.
We recommend semi-formal attire. For guests choosing to wear heels, opt for block heels or flats as the ceremony and reception will be outdoors. Also, while the reception will be tented, please keep in mind that Charleston can get hot in May (temperature will likely be in the high 70s/low 80s).
We will be serving a Southern brunch buffet with plenty of options. We have accounted for all known dietary restrictions so there should be options for everyone. Please contact Julia or Tyler directly with any questions. Coffee will be served beginning at 10:30am (prior to the ceremony). After the ceremony, a wide array of non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks will be served. Mimosas, Bloody Marys, beer, and wine will be available. Brunch will not be served until 11:30am. If you anticipate being hungry before then, please please do not show up on an empty stomach. Make sure to have breakfast before arriving at the venue!

Although we would love to offer a plus one to all guests, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget. We appreciate your understanding and can't wait to celebrate with you.
