FAQs

Question

Destination wedding?! When and where?

Answer

We are recommending a stay from Wednesday, 4/28/27 to Sunday, 5/2/27 at Moon Palace Jamaica located in Ocho Rios! Feel free to extend or shorten your stay as needed. The Bride and Groom will be staying from 4/27 - 5/4. All scheduled events will take place on resort. The welcome party will be on Thursday, 4/29/27 and the wedding ceremony and reception will be on Friday, 4/30/27. Please see the travel tab for booking info!

Question

How do we book?

Answer

visit the link on our travel tab to book with our group travel coordinator! PLEASE DO NOT BOOK DIRECTLY THROUGH THE RESORT. LINK TO BOOK : https://booking.destinationweddings.com/attend/event?eventId=944793&contactId=

Question

When do we need to book by?

Answer

To guarantee a room with our group and at our discounted rates, please make your reservation and pay your $100 deposit by APRIL 15th 2026. Any reservations made after that date will be subject to availability and not guaranteed at our rates. Final payment is not due until January :)

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

To ensure that all of our guests are able to enjoy a fun and relaxing evening, we will not be able to accommodate children at the wedding events. Moon Palace is a family friendly resort so feel free to bring your kids along on the trip if you'd like, just be sure to secure a childcare plan in place for scheduled events :)

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

All scheduled wedding events are planned exclusively for invited guests, so unless indicated on your invitation, we unfortunately cannot accommodate plus ones. That being said, it's a huge resort and this is your vacation too so you are more than welcome to add someone to your trip if you'd like, they just won't be able to attend pre-scheduled events (i.e. welcome party, ceremony, reception, etc).

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code for the ceremony/reception is beachy formal! Think maxi dresses, florals, jumpsuits, heels or sandals, linen suits, etc. Jackets and ties are welcome but not required. No jeans or sneakers for the wedding, and as expected avoid wearing white to scheduled events. The welcome party is less formal than the wedding- think skirts, linens, button ups, sun dress, etc.! Check out the “what to wear” tab for outfit inspo!

Question

I'm still confused!

Answer

We get it, there's a lot of details to keep track of! Don't hesitate to reach out to Warren and/or Julia directly with further questions!
