our story began in January 2020, when we met for the first time through our dearest mutual friend (shoutout taylor) on a night out in astoria, queens. we hit it off the first few times we saw each other but after an… unsuccessful number exchange, we weren’t sure it would go anywhere. as the pandemic kicked in and groups started getting more tight-knit, we found ourselves in several zoom parties, small get togethers, and eventually on a summer group trip to the poconos where we finally made things official the old fashioned way (over a drinking game). because there were so many restrictions and such little to do, we had all the time in the world over the next few months to get to know each other and grow closer and closer everyday. through unemployment, virtual grad school, and hectic theatre schedules, we managed to build the foundation we’re so proud of today. nearly three years later we welcomed sweet baby theo, who not only changed all of our lives for the better, but helped deepen our adoration and respect for each other in ways we never expected. five and a half years later, as we await the arrival of our second baby, we could not be more excited to celebrate our love with all of you as we officially become husband and wife!
