Next Stop MA
After both graduating from Dickinson in 2019, Julia and Cooper made moves to Boston! Julia was living in Cambridge, while Cooper lived nearby in Somerville. While in Boston, they enjoyed exploring the esplanade, weekend trips to Nantucket, and trying as many restaurants as they could.
Unexpected 3 months in Charleston
During their time in Boston, Covid hit. Fortunately for them, Julia's parents had just purchased their home in Charleston and it was sitting vacant. They drove 16 hours in one day expecting to be there for 2 weeks, which ended up being closer to 3 months. They made a food Instagram, built a table, and played virtual beer pong with their friends. This is when they realized they could truly live together and be happy with just each others company.
Where we live now!
After two years in Boston, Julia and Cooper made the move out west, back to Julia's hometown. They currently live in The Highlands. When Coopers not tending to his vegetable garden, they love to fly-fish, golf and ski in the winter!

The proposal! Cooper, with the help of Julia's parents, lured her up to the mountains. They had "planned" some events to get her off his scent. After work on Friday, Cooper and Julia were going to go on a quick cross-country ski before dinner. They do this often, so Julia wasn't expecting anything. However, they had gone ring shopping back in November, so she had become more suspicious during romantic events... And, Cooper was a bit persistent on this specific trail... They made it to a familiar bench with their favorite view of Byers Peak when Cooper suddenly had to stop to deal with a "blister". Before Julia knew it, Cooper was asking her to spend the rest of his life with him. It was the easiest yes. He then surprised her with a romantic weekend away in Steamboat, where they were able to tell all their friends and obsess over the fact they were engaged and going to spend the rest of their lives together.
