Some of our favorite hikes include: -Chautauqua Loop Trail (3.6 Miles) - Moderate -Royal Arch Trail (3.5 Miles) - Moderate to Difficult TIPS: The elevation gain can be tough! Take your time and enjoy the views as the initial grade can be a bit intimidating and there is plenty of steep hiking to the top. Bring water, hats, hiking shoes, and sunscreen.

Estes Park is just beyond Boulder on US-36. This is the gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park, and a excellent mountain town to visit in the summer. Rocky Mountain National Park, is a great opportunity to see wildlife and do some hiking. Before heading into the park, check if a reservation is required. The town also happens to be the setting of the Stephen King novel, The Shinning, which was inspired by The Stanley Hotel, as you enter town. Stop by the Antique Jewelry and Coin store, it is a bit unassuming but there are tons of treasures inside.
