Is there a dress code?

Formal Attire: We understand formal to mean full-length gowns for women & suits and ties paired with dress shoes for men. NO prints or patterns (NO Estampados); NO sneakers. Please check the "Get to Know Medellin" section for a link with a more detailed guide.

Registry & Gifts
Answer
There are two options for wedding gifts: you can contribute to our digital cash fund in the 'registry' section, or, if you prefer, there will be an envelope box for monetary gifts at the wedding. The last is a Colombian wedding tradition called "Lluvia de Sobres."

Is there transportation to the ceremony?
Answer
The Wedding Venue is located 1 hour from downtown Medellin. Transportation from Novotel (ONLY) to and from the Wedding Venue will be provided on the Wedding Day. Make sure you arrive on time; buses will not wait.

No Children Policy

Please note that our wedding is an adults-only event, and exceptions cannot be made. However, we understand that some of you may be traveling with children. In this case, we can recommend professional babysitting services that can come to your chosen hotel.

What documents are needed to enter Colombia?
Answer
Travelers from 102 countries and territories, including the USA, Canada, the UK, New Zealand, Australia, and most countries in the EU and EEA, can enter Colombia visa-free as tourists. Upon arrival, visitors from countries on the approved list receive a passport stamp granting a stay of up to 90 days. However, there are a few conditions. You'll need a minimum of six months left on your passport before it expires and you may be asked to show proof of an onward ticket for travel out of Colombia at the end of your stay. Officials may also request evidence of a yellow fever vaccination certificate if you’re entering from another South American country.

In November, Rionegro temperature ranges from 13°C to 23°C (55°F to 73°F). However, in Medellin, temperatures usually range from around 16°C to 27°C (61°F to 81°F).
