INNSiDE by Meliá is our top recommendation for accommodation. The scheduled shuttles for the welcome party and wedding will be picking guests up from here. This hotel is modern and located in the Historic Braga city center. It offers great walkability to restaurants, bars, and other local Braga attractions. Booking is available already for 2026. There are several different hotel options in the Historic Braga City Center. Additionally, plenty of AirBNB options in the City Center and surrounding wine region. Although Ubers are readily available and the Historical Braga City Center is very walkable, rental cars are an excellent option for those who would like to explore Northern Portugal. Portugal is a very small country, so having a rental car gives you the flexibility to explore a lot of different attractions at your own convenience. From our experiences, we have found driving in Portugal to be very easy and safe with a robust highway system. Plenty of rental car companies are available such as: SIXT, Avis & Hertz.
