How We Met
We officially met in the summer of 2010. I was in between sophomore and junior years of college; Matt was about to start grad school. We were both servers at the Warminster West Diner and we worked Thursday nights together. The early bird special was always chicken parm and split pea soup. Our paths only crossed for about eight weeks before Matt left the diner to begin his graduate studies at Temple's podiatry school. As fate would have it, I worked for Temple's graduate housing on main campus and my boss asked me to start picking up shifts at the podiatry campus for that upcoming fall semester.
So our paths crossed once again. We became really good friends that year - Matt visited me every week. We went shopping at the Gallery on my lunch breaks and Matt taught me how to play tennis after work.
We started dating in the summer of 2012 and haven't looked back!

The picture above was taken at Mike's Bar & Grill in Warminster on a Thursday night after working at the diner. Matt was clearly finished his shift earlier than I was; he is showered and in civilian clothes, looking good per usual. I - however - am still in my uniform, greasy, more than likely smelling like pickled beets, and definitely very underage at the bar, lolz.
