We’ve reserved a block of rooms at Dreams Vallarta Bay from November 26–29, 2026, at a special group rate for our guests. Space is limited, so we encourage booking early to secure the discounted rate for the wedding weekend. We’ll be staying at Dreams too, and we can’t wait to have you join us there! If you’d like to extend your trip, you’re welcome to add extra nights at the resort at standard pricing, or explore more of Puerto Vallarta. A couple of nearby options we recommend are the Sheraton Buganvilias Resort & Convention Center, loved for its ocean views and central location, and Hotel Grand Paramar, a boutique-style property full of charm. For those who want to dive into the local scene, the Romantic Zone is another great area, with beaches, restaurants, and nightlife just steps away. We plan to be in Puerto Vallarta from November 24–December 1, 2026, and will update this page once our plans are finalized.

Puerto Vallarta International Airport (PVR)

Puerto Vallarta International Airport (PVR) is the main hub for travelers coming to the wedding and is conveniently served by many major airlines, including American, United, Southwest, Delta, and more. There are plenty of direct flight options from major cities such as Dallas, Denver, Los Angeles, and Chicago, making it easy to get here no matter where you’re traveling from. Airlines typically release flights about 10–11 months before departure. For November 2026, this means schedules will start becoming available in early 2026, with most airlines releasing seats by January and beyond. For the best prices and availability, we recommend booking flights to Puerto Vallarta about 6–7 months before the wedding (around April–May 2026). November is a busy travel season, so keeping an eye on fares early and setting up flight alerts is a smart idea. Booking before summer 2026 will give you the best balance of price, schedule, and peace of mind.

Transportation

The resort is conveniently located just 3 miles from Puerto Vallarta International Airport—only about a 15-minute drive. Taxis are the easiest option and are readily available right outside the arrivals area. From our own travel experience, we’ve always chosen the taxi option and never had any trouble getting one upon landing, even without pre-booking. Private airport shuttles are another great choice, especially if you’re traveling with a group and want the convenience of arriving together. While Uber does operate in Puerto Vallarta, please note that rideshare drivers are not allowed to pick up directly from the airport.
